“You are the sum total of everything you’ve ever seen, heard, eaten, smelled, been told, forgot - it’s all there. Everything influences each of us, and because of that I try to make sure that my experiences are positive.”

I just finished “Normal People” on Hulu, I gotta say the trailers for that show didn’t do it justice. It was not at all what I was expecting. It took me by surprise how emotionally invested I became. Superb acting by both of the leads and beautiful cinematography. Gut-wrenching series from beginning to end though.

Normal People is beautiful and heartbreaking and frustrating and straight up brilliant. This relationship sends you on a whirlwind of emotions and the writers did a phenomenal job depicting this ships complex journey.

Daisy Edgar-Jones & Paul Mescal were so utterly well casted; their on screen chemistry is electrifying! When they were happy, you were happy. When they hurt, you hurt right alongside them. And all you want to do is root for them to make it work and find their happily ever after, in ever aspects of their lives.

This story, that I previously knew nothing about, has really done a number on my soul and I honestly can’t get enough of it. I truly hope Hulu greenlights a second season cuz I need to know if this ship is end game! ❤

Alone Together by Aristotle Roufanis

“Alone Together is an ongoing photographic project by Aristotle Roufanis, for which the London-based photographer takes photos of large metropoles in a way that only tiny, individual apartment lights are visible. Hardly recognisable in the dark, some of the world’s most famous metropoles such as London, Paris, Miami and Athens are transformed into sprawling canvases of anonymity, where countless people have decided to make their home but hardly connect to each other.  The project takes this phenomenon of social alienation in urban centres as a starting point, and adds a positive, optimistic twist to it.”
